so i tried the new gadgets.- ultimate air trick is VERY track specific. it's either nice or worthless. even with trick boosting gadgets getting 3 tricks off the usual small ramps is very hard. proly will only be seen on trick races in festivals- perfect landing seems like a good filler gadget. you don't even need to trick, you just need to press accel before landing. definitely will take some practice tho- substitue item feels great. it will especially be nice online on those moments when someone is right besides you and there's barely any time to react. working on backthrown gloves/slicers is a nice cherry on top. unfortunately it doesn't work against tornados, so gl for that antichrist- Invincible Finish is pure dogshit. even if the final stretch is usually the most important part of the race, you just sacrifice too many gadget slots for something that will barely take effect through most of the race. i swear, they are incappable of making good non-kit 3 slots gadgets- the evolution gadgets are interesting alternatives to ring engine. ring evo felt great on ACK and ring bounty builds, proly the best out of the 4. item hit evo might make meme item builds legit. collision evo could be decent in packs. damage evo seems the weakest. the only unknow thing is if the "level" effects grants something like a flat speed boost
