30 years old and can't be good at FPS anymore it's fucking over...
>>741765510could be worse, you could have arthritis and cant click a mouse for more than 30 minutes without being in immense pain.
not completely dead yet
>>741765510My reaction time was around 300ish when i was a teen and it still is at 31. I've simply gotten wiser and better at games.
>>741765510Skill issue, I'm 34.
>>741765510Issue of the Skill, I concern.
178 at 58 years oldyou're just a slow fat sack of shit
>>741765510I'm 36. I'd do better than you 3 bottles of wine in.>>741765693>click to keep going>not averagePussy.
>>741765765bro what were the 80s and 90s like for you
>>741765510my fellow unc isn't fast anymore? say it ain't so lads, just turned 31 btw
>>741765871music, videogames, wife and kids same ole shit but with newer technology nowi don't blame a lot of the younger generation that hates my generation and the ones older than me though a bunch of these tree hugger hippy fags ruined the free world for everyone
>>741765848Proof?
>>741765510I'm sure everyone told you you were shit in every game lobby in your 20s but you wouldn't listen and now you think it's because you're 30.
>>741765510I quit playing online FPS at 15 because my ping was always shit and there were cheaters everywhere.
>>741765693>single instanceCompletely worthless. You can get 10ms if you guess enough times.
>>741766018This is me 2 bottles of wine in. I'm pretty sure they are more lenient with the timing these days though. The only way you are getting 300+ is if you are doing it on a phone or a tablet and in that case you are completely fucktarded.
Corporate Serf started aim training and ranked on top of leaderboards, and he had a BRAIN INJURY due to a tumor IIRC. You have no excuse. Skill issue.
keep trying chuds
>630msit's so over
30yo hereI actually got better from the last time I did it (200ms).I do have a new monitor though that might be the cause
>>741765510I never need to find out my reaction time in these threads. I'm 40 now, and every time I've done it in the past it's always been around mid 300.I don't play any online multiplayer, so, big whoop I guess.
>>741765510I'm 40 and I can literally join any Fortnite or COD game and still win. However both games are complete shite anyway. Reflex time isn't as important as experience, knowing how players play or where they will appear etc.
wanting to be good at videogames is very stupid and childish
>>741765510become a healsissy~
you retards treat FPS games like they are strictly instagib kek
>>741768669If you have solid positioning it should be. I'm sure it's different in your world where you just wander around aimlessly.kek
>>741768745insult me one more time, see what happens, chump.
Is this good or bad? 38 btw.
>>741768828Never mind I didn't even finish it. This is the final result.
>>741768669Instagib is my fav mutator in UT99 t h o.
>>741768973Yeah it is pretty fun, but gets boring quickly for me if i do more than 8 matches in any game with the gamemode
>living in the presentlmao'd at your lives
>>741768539>wanting to be good at something is dumb!Shut the fuck up you worthless retard
>>741765510These tests are pointless, you can just keep trying until you get a result you like, it's as meaningless as an IQ test
>>741768539>being intentionally shit at your hobby is maturecope from the 300ms retirement home bracket. wanting to improve at something you spend hundreds of hours doing is normal. pretending incompetence is a personality trait is the childish part.
This isn't a good test for reaction times because there are no fps games where you're solely focused on quickly pressing a button when the screen goes green.
>>741765510My first try. I used to play using a 56k modem on mplayer./v/ has always been bad at games.
>>741771092oh yeah i forgot you have to do it a few times to get an average.heat.net is gay
>>741766279Not in my wild west, chud.
>>741765510The biggest skill in FPS games isn't reaction speed, but positioning. It's all about sightlines, cover, and evasion. If you have a brain, you can handle that.
>>74176551031 year old here216ms is my averageAt least i can cope by typing faster than zoomers
>>741768539
46 and a big issue is that my ability to form new muscle memory is completely trashed. My hands start trying to do combos from 1997 in fighting games.
38 and 175 with 150ish the fastest. I always feel like my hands are cold during these tests and I haven't played an FPS in ages that put me in the zone which sucks. But surprisingly faster than 2 years ago which felt impossible to break 200ms. I will say having the right chair and table helps so my fat wrist isn't leaning up all the time anymore.
>>741774076Pretty sure they chat gpt everything and have no idea what to type in the first place anymore
>>741774262Lewis wrote that in mind for adults with arguably "childish" hobbies (i.e. those that read his books for children), not for when discussing the physical cost of aging itself, nor for regarding man children whose entire lives are consumed by their stereotypically childish hobby.
>>741765510250 at 40 and I had to relearn moving my hands at the age of 30. I take it.
>>741774981@grok, type me a retort
>>741765510Shiieeeeetttt. I'm fucked.
>>741774981Nah we make fun of people that need to use AI for pretty much anything.
>>741775269Time to flood all data with the smallest flaw so AI thinks it is 'common sense' via brute spam and cements my bullshit permanently into mankind's psyche. O wait I am not a politician or Jewish my bad
>>74176551036 btw, either you're doing something bad to your body, or you need to get a better monitor.
Recommend me a game anons.
>>741776886labotomy corporation then you can play library of ruina
>>741777118>Genuine answerHuh, unironically thanks.
>>741765510It's not like there will ever be a good one again anyway, everyone just wants to copy whatever live service garbage is the current fad.
>>741765510There's no difference between a 30 year or 15 year old. Boomers dominate Quake. It all depends on how much time you spend polishing your skills. Teenagers spend exponentially more time on games than uncs, which is why they are better at them. Most uncs have neither time nor focus required to reach the top, but they could if they put their mind to it. It's just very unlikely due to life circumstances and obligations. Uncs can't just drop everything and spend 16 hours a day practicing some multiplayer game like a teenager.
>>741774076>shit talking a generation that you're two years older than
>>741765510>good at fpsJust cheat like everyone normal...
>>741766279>t.
Shooting games are little kids domain anyways. Let's not even get into how most Military themed shooters are thinly veiled propaganda. You're better of playing other genres.
>>741765510>not 2 digit>blames agegit gud rookiest pilot
>>74176551031 years old and I'm better at FPS than I've ever beenYou don't need to have coked up zoomer reaction time to be good, not all FPS gameplay is le flicking trickshot
>>741765510It's time to embrace the racing autism, lad.
>t.40honestly better than expected
>>741766201You're an idiot at best or disingenuous at worst. >>741765693 was probably clicking 180ms, 220ms and then got the 165ms and posted it
140ms is best I can dot. 30yo unc with midrange pc
>>741765510>>741771092>>741775349these guy can get punched and they'll realize it the next day
is coffee bad for reaction times? i've been using this test for at least 10 years now and my reaction is usually 250 to 300 on average, but i drink a lot of coffee every day which is the only thing i can think of that could be bad
>>741766279>>741773572>>741781549Amateurs. I had 11 ms once. Though I may have accidentally lost the image for that one, but it definitely happened. If I can find it and dig it up and save it, I'll throw it here.
