Gonna buy the Halo Master Chief Collection when the summer sale hits. Never played any Halo game before and I'm gonna go through all campaigns on heroic in release order. Except Halo 4 which I heard killed the series.

>>741771570Yeah for 2 there's the OG soundtrack, and the anniversary one, dunno about CE since I've never played it in anniversary mode. If you swap between the visuals, the OST will also change. It's noticeably different, and mostly for the worse, the vocals/choir doesn't do it for me.But for 2, you can play on anniversary graphics + OG soundtrack by starting the campaign from mission select rather than quickstart. If you're looking to play 2 on original graphics you'll be doing that anyway, since 343 made it default to the remastered intro cutscene.Forgot to add that Reach also doesn't have any kind of remaster, like 3 that game still looks good.

Reach caused some of the first big divides in the community and it does things differently but is intended to be a spin off. >>741772615If you want to get REALLY autistic there's also the Marathon trilogy (not to be mistaken with the extraction shooter that's hemorrhaging players at this moment). It's an older series Bungie made that CE has a lot of parallels and tiny references to, to the point where CE can sort of be seen as a spiritual sequel/reboot to Marathon, before branching off to it's own thing with 2 and 3. But they're separate settings, so you don't really need to sweat it too much
