All the casualization features, which imo are not all bad like summons or a few OP legendary weapons. They have been trying to cater to normals for a long time. Thats why the "gatekeeping" crowd said no summons or black knight weapons or shields back in dark souls 1, they were trying to get people to play in a way that made the game more engaging, this sort of worked back when dark souls was a niche "secret club" type game but its too popular now, and the devs have always wanted the widest audience possible. I think their publishers have actually pushed them pretty hard already to dumb stuff down big time after release.
