The racing looks good but I'm not sold at all on the walking around "story mode" parts. The spacemonkey mechanic seems like an annoying sidekick in particular.
i haven't played any racing game since like the PS3 but as someone who's nostalgic for Burnout and Wipeout this feels that might change
