>A new study finds open-world games can combat loneliness by helping gamers adopt a stoic mindset
Why do you hate open world games?

I don't. I just feel that a lot of games are needlessly open-world (eg. Metroid Prime 4) or just aren't very good games in general (eg. SW Outlaws, RDR2)

For every good open-world game like Elden Ring or TW3, there's like 2-3 that either fail at justifying their open-worlds or just fail at being solid games.

RDR2 is good though.

Why would I do that? People are awful.

My tastes in vidya haven't changed at all ever since I started hanging out with normalfags and trying to find work.
