I feel like Game Freak's Stellar Blade clone Beast of Reincarnation will be a good indication whether or not this new openworld Pokemon game will be good or bad. Mild worry: the trailer had some real noticable framedrops but otherwise the game looks fine, I guess. If they can make this at least playable I guess they should be able to make a good openworld Pokemon game.

Akari dueling a giant enraged Garchomp by throwing sticky crap at it then bashing it in the back of the head with a stone orb to catch it was pretty fun.As for ZA, it has just the regular throw type, and a MUCH shorter range. Mons are more prone to raging or fleeing, and it's a great deal harder to catch them without engaging in combat. You can try to catch via knocking them out as well, but if they break out there, they flee forever. Autosave is also impossible to turn off so you do need to save prior to catching a shiny. On the plus side shinies NEVER deload unless you have 10 spawned across the map. The level difference effect on catch rate is also greatly magnified, to the point where even in direct combat you cannot catch some Pokemon (e.g. the backalley Garbodor) at all if too low level, unlike PLA where you simply had to be in battle with an overleveled Alpha to instead of throwing a ball at one (pre-trial).
