Love Dark Sector. Im probably one of 100 people globally who played multiplayer on 360.

I wanted a singleplayer MMO and I got what I wanted. The roll combat was fun. Crazy that it was disliked enough to bankrupt Rhode Island.

I'll put Bulletstorm there too. I love the sliding and kill scoring. It gets a lot more fun when you don't treat it like a cover shooter.

Re-Reckoning got me through a rough time but I don't know if I'd enjoy it going back. Also I think it was more that the actual MMO it was a spinoff of crashed and burned.

I did too

It grew on me as well.

I liked it, but I also switched to the classic control scheme. Not sure how much that helps. Also, I liked how Fury was more or less a "punch mage".

We really need more European dynasty warriors clones

Opinions on this drastically differ on when you played it. Right after release or years after.
And it also depends on whether you think it killed Darksiders (again, this damn series dies after every fucking installment lmao) or after DS4 was announced (like how opinions on DmC shifted to more positive once it wasn't the shitty bad end to a franchise you liked before).

I personally can dig this game. I still think the first one is the best, but I can find charm in every single DS game.

Dark Sector was so close to being decent. Just have the enemy guns don't self-destruct for no reason, give more ammo to the player, have the enemies be consistent when recieving damage/getting hit and have the glaive actually be useful. It's a third person shooter and I want to shoot, instead of relying on the glaive and it's hit detection. I don't know about the console version, and I assume the glaive actually works fine there, but the pc port is lackluster

I like Dark Sector. I have it on PS3 and I wish it had trophies.

There is this game I played as a kid, I have no idea what the title was or anything. I just remember a few things.
It was in pallette colors, sort of bright green, blue and yellow pallette. You steered a little alien-like humanoid creature with an antenna on top of its head. The tip of the antenna served as the crosshairs for when you were shooting energy balls from energy source that was limited but would automatically replenish over time. You could shoot weak energy balls as quick as you could click, or you could charge a more powerful one.
You could also throw eggs, from which would come little alligators or crocodiles that would attack everything in their vicinity.
Among your enemies there were big alligators or crocodiles.
And that's basically all I remember. I asked about this game many times in many communities but nobody has an idea what game it was so I guess I am the only person on Earth to have played it.

Played it over and over co-op with my best friend back in the day. Loved playing the big lizard guy.
