but why corn
>>
>>741787024
america produces corn in such retardedly high volumes that it's more viable to use corn for its sugar than it is to buy, grow, or process actual sugar-cane

there's a similar story for pistachios because some american growers became obsessed with muscling out other global pistachio nut markets and is why pistachio recipes and advertisements started going insane about ten years ago

it's a tough, high yield crop that grows anywhere and has a ton of uses. even the fucking black mold that sometimes grows on it is considered a delicacy

That was good for me, I like them and use them in my trail mix.

you know some of those gluten-free and replacement stuffs are actually getting good enough to be worth pursuing, my workplace has these brownies out for gluten-free kids and the employees keep dibbling into them because they are the best fucking brownies any of us have ever eaten. absolutely decadent. eight dollars PER brownie when ordered from the company for resale and worth every single cent. like holy shit this is a good brownie
>>
>>741786573
so do both have different tastes? I've only had the right
>>
>>741787195
I like pistachio and I appreciate that pistachio ice cream exists. On the other hand, Dubai chocolate is a scam and tastes like shit.

>>
>>741786774
Funny you say that, the reason corn is in everything is because the US government heavily subsidizes it, aka SOCIALISM
>>
>>741787508
I accidentally bought a gluten free cookie once and it was the most horrendous dogshit I have ever tasted. Wasn't even a psychological hangup thing either, because I just thought it was a normal cookie until I took a bite.
>>
>>741787554
left tastes more like ass than the right which tastes more like, well, iron and tomato and left makes the thing more stickier rather than sauce-like its supposed to be.

exercise keeps you thin, hot, well proportioned regardless of climate, maybe try it out instead of being afraid of a bit of extra calorie expenditure.
>>
>>741787663
it REALLY depends on which product you buy. another one i adored and was pissed the workplace took away because sysco is the devil, i forget the brand of them but they were gluten-free donuts and they tasted like krullers or sour-cream cake donuts even though they just looked like a normal glazed vanilla donut. so fucking good
>>
For me its:
>>

These are literally the same product with a slightly different kind of sugar.

It's because corn grows in middle America and fucking sugar cane doesn't. This isn't that complicated
>>
>>741787797
Today I learnt artifical colorings are just sugar.
>>
>>741786774
if not for commies all the corn farmers would go bankrupt
>>
>>741787663
I have celiacs so I have to eat gluten free. It sways wildly between what brand you're buying on if its fine, delicious, or inedible. Homemade is always better too. I actually got into cooking and baking because of the allergy and I eat almost no precooked food now.

Video games?

>>741787195
really? pistachios as fuckass expensive here in europe/sweden
>>
>>741788227
they're still sort-of expensive here in america because that level of nut production is nutty to where it would get them to be cheap, but now we see "product of USA" on a lot of pistachio labels instead of foreign imports

again because some farmers got a hair up their ass and decided they wanted to supplant the pistachio market. for some reason
>>
>>741788227
Pretty cheap here in California because its where they grow them
>>
>>741786573
Different countries have different standards when it comes to listing the ingredients. The right contains onion powder, but onion powder is considered a spice, same with the natural flavoring.
