The Nintendo 64 is 30 years old!!! What do you think of it?

Decent when hooked up via S-Video or with an RGB mod for turbo autists.
Solid Zelda, Mario, and FPS games with Goldeneye, Quake, and Perfect Dark.
For multiplats like Megaman 64/Legends, or even Lego Racers, the PS1 version load times are abysmal, making the N64 experience superior even if it loses audio/cutscene quality.
No need for a multitap for 4-player is great too.
F-Zero X, Beetle Adventure Racing, and other arcade-style racers like Hydro Thunder and San Francisco Rush 2049 fill out the local multiplayer experience very well, as do casual experiences like Mario Party 2&3 and Smash Bros 64.
Basically, if you have friends to play with or like Zelda/Mario/Original-style Resident Evil, it's great.
Conker is still fun both solo and multiplayer.

Loved it as kid, nice games to play with friends.

Wish the controller wasnt so trash though.

Definitely the "back-up platform" of its gen, and there's nothing wrong with that. The only people that I knew who were deranged about it were people who ONLY had N64. Pointing out that PC or PS1 had more things to play was seen as an affront to their honor.
