For the biggest game in teh universe, the lack of mega hype on the day of it going preorder is very telling. Sure, it will be "successful". But it will ultimately blow over and no-one will give a a fuck in a few weeks after it's release. Ghetto banger simulator just isn't relevant to modern times anymore because the world now is way worse than anything in these games.

It doesn't appeal to me personally, I couldn't really get into 4 when I tried it, but like, GTA was popular ages back. It's understandable the bunches of people that played it'd be hype, and that publishers would not want to compete with its release month.I don't get why people aren't nervous about overhyping it, seems like bad luck. I guess rockstar has a good enough track record they can feel confidence it won't be another cyberpunk or whatever else.
