fusionfix + various fixes on complete edition is by far the most stable way to play on modern hardware. only downgrade if there is a specific script mod you want to use and it only works on 1.0.8.0 or something

man i hate that the modding scene is FUCKING DEAD. any dotnet or asi script i’m interested in hasnt been uodated since like 2011 or only works on some fuck ass downgraded version like 1.0.4.0. i really like GTA IV but it has the classic problem that once the story is done you have fucking nothing to do. nowhere to waste your money. and very little really to earn money outside of story missions. so what, i can get into fights with cops (gangs dont even do anything unless modded) and… drive around?
