Played Signalis before Crow Country. Enjoyed it as well, well, even more.
I'd say, CC controls better and has better puzzles, but I liked Signalis more for the atmosphere, music, story (whatever that is). These rather subjective things.
Crow Country is also smaller, and I don't know if that's good or bad. Almost 8 hours for my playthrough and I certainly didn't rush things.
Crow Country was pretty funny at times, I'd give the game that

I tolerated it on my first playthrough, but quit partway through my second. The combination of bullshit toe traps everywhere and the steep camera angles making it hard to see enemies mixed with enemies respawning like crazy just took it out of me. And the plot being completely retarded didn't help.

Nice OST though.
