This is obvious. GTA6 is releasing close to xmas and close to the yearly cod and sports games so they are gonna avoid all that and obviously they were gonna wait at least a month until after gTA6 released to release the online.
My thoughts is online is gonna simply be a new SKU, a complete separate download. Probably released in the January. Though it might have been wiser to release it so all the kids spend their xmas money on shark cards.
Also they will want to skip the xmas in the first year to skip the xmas event stuff they normally do.

hopefully the pc release launches alongside gta6o just like red dead online did with red dead 2 pc release.

i agree it will def be its own launcher, both gta 5 and red dead online can be bought and played separate from the campaigns, i wouldnt be suprised online launches as free for those who bought the campaign or paid on its own or even "free" with gta+ sub

Funny that you say that as I owned RDR2 on disc and when I got a PS5 I went fully digital so grabbed RDR2 online on sale, and it was actually just RDR2m with online just sold as RDR2O.
Like you are saying they will market GTAO on its own because there are people that just dont care about GTA single player at all, so most likely, new SKU, free for those who own GTA6 or separate purchase.

Would be funny if they did that and its the same price as GTA6 anyway and retards just buy GTAO seeing it on the store.

I have already seen some retards online shitpost that they dint care about single player and are only playing GTAO so it is probably understood by R* marketing that selling GTAO separate from the base game is a better marketing decision.
Also it allows us to separate the online/offline data for better storage.

Personally while I will play both i care more about the single player than online, but online gives the game longevity.
