I just can't play old games. I just can't enjoy playing a game with obsolete visuals unless it has a satisfactory gameplay rhythm, which many old games fail to deliever. Remasters of "extremely old" games are a good thing. We need remasters of all Zelda games, not just OoT. We need remasters of all games that the oldfags glaze all the time. We need games like Max Payne 1, Deus Ex, VTMB, GoldenEye 007 to be remastered for a 2020 audience as well.

This is the shit people post with this pic on instagram thinking it’s some profound revelation lmao.
>>741818794Video Games are like Operas. If you listen to pre-war conductors or orchestras you will hear a "hiss" sound in the back, ruining the entire Opera. We need remastered recordings that use the latest recordings and instruments while also fixing the mistakes of past conductors. This is a win-win situation for both parties. The boomers get to enjoy replaying their nostalgia on 4K and we get to experience what the hype was all about.
>>741818581I believe video game remakes CAN a good thing. i dont think there is anything wrong with updating an older game but a lot of times they fuck with things too much and thus get called de-makes. why is it so difficult for them to remake something and just update it and make it feel fresh instead of outright changing things dramatically? also i wish more remakes did the thing the halo master chief collection did where you can switch between the old and new game with the press of a button at any time
>>741818581The idea behind remakes isn't terrible. Remaking an old game with better graphics and gameplay is fine, but the problem is every single fucking modern remake is gayer and worse than the original.
