All great games, but not good enough to compete with ALttP. Beyond Oasis was my favorite of the bunch; the summoning system was great, and I'm surprised more games don't have a similar system.
I'm not 300 years old so they are objectively shit

Ragnacenty is one of the first games to do the "are monsters really evil?" thing that every game features nowadays and has a fun gimmick with the pets. Beyond Oasis has the best combat though; it was made by the people that made Streets of Rage 2 so it had combos and a bit of depth to the attacks.

>>741826791Light Crusader is a weird game in Treasure's catalog but it sort of fits in when you think about it. The plot is similar to Guardian Heroes in a way. The game also has a magic system where you combine elements the same way you combine weapons in Gunstar Heroes. There are charming moments but the most annoying part is that you need to redo puzzles every time you backtrack through a room.
I've been petitioning all these games to show up on Game Center CX, but so far to no avail. In Glorious Nippon, retro games means the Famicom or Su-fami, and not much else. But they are starting to do more Mega drive games thankfully so who knows?otn.fujitv.co.jp/gamecenter/
