>SF remake was made in-house! My dad told me so!
So turns out that was an obvious lie. Who else wants to bet this was made externally too?

Why do remakes need to be made in house
>>
>>741829258
hell the only remakes i can think of that were in-house are the SMB1/2/3 remakes for super mario all-stars on the SNES and that's more of a port than a remake

Why should works of art be remade by randos who treat their jobs like it's some factory assembly line?
>>
>>741829038
If it's not Monolith Soft then I have no idea. I really worry it's just a 1:1 remake, but maybe it'll be a good thing cause then people will be like "wow, at least FF7's remake did more".
>>
>>741829258
Because unless it is being done by proven fans who want to honor the work without inserting their own fanfiction into it, the chances are better (note I said better) that the original company will treat it with more respect than a 3rd party who either has never played it, found the original problematic, or prioritize putting their own spin and vision on it (see Bluepoint for an example).

After Star Fox, the maybe 5% interest I had in this dropped to 0.
Navi WILL say "Well that just happened!" after your quest marker took you to Darunia's room and you play Saria's Song for him, prompting him to tell you how the Goron people suffered resisting Ganondorf.
Ruto WILL say "he's right behind me, isn't he" right before the Big Octo takes her in Jabu Jabu.

SF? No one abreviates Star Fox as SF. Stop fucking doing that

This
Nobody wants to actually faithfully remake something, they want to change it, then ride the wave of those changes being considered an improvement to something else, and they'll gamble tge entire project on that happening. It's not like they can fail doing it, it'll always sell enough to nostalgiatards to consider it a modest success, and the blowback won't matter to them anyways

NOT EVERY FUCKING COMPANY IS PLAYSTATIOOOOOOON

NINTENDO RARELY IF EVER DOES REMAKES UNLESS IT'S EITHER A PORT JOB OR IT'S TRAINING NEW DEVS TO DO SPECIFIC TYPES OF GAAAAAAAMES

GREZZO GOT THE LINK'S AWAKENING REMAKE TO TRAIN FOR ECHOES OF WISDOM AND MERCURYSTEAM GOT THE METROID 2 REMAKE TO TRAIN FOR METROID DREAAAAAAAD

THE TTYD REMAKE IS PROBABLY FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS TO RETRAIN ON OLD STYLE PAPER MARIOOOOOO

REEEEEEEEEE

I'm 100% sure it's not made by Nintendo. Just given their history of remakes and that they are not capable of this graphical style. Also they had no problem handing the 3DS remakes to Grezzo, why should they care now?

Even their Mario 3D All-Star ports were dogshit. I understand fans hold Mario and Zelda sacred, but Nintendo doesn't. Not anymore at least.

You understood what I said based on the context, so I'll keep doing it until SF becomes irrelevant again or people start talking about StreetFighter

:)

I had a feeling since the reveal trailer that it was made by Americans. Nothing about SF2026 looks Japanese.
