I think OoT3D looks nice and I'm tired of pretending it doesn't.

They should have just paired the 3DS games together and then released them on the switch with 60fps, instead of that god awful cheap emulation hackjob we got.

Some major changes with the 3DS ports are:

1. Higher color saturation, which is believed to counter the 3D effect that no one uses.
2. Art style shift from the 90s anime look (the only Zelda game to go full anime btw), to the more rounded cartoonish Zelda look.

But the 3DS port is thorougly okay looking. It's clearly built on top of the Ocarina of Time code base and models so it blends. The remake is going to be some Unreal engine looking monstrosity, where Nintendo tries to "catch up" to AAA games again.

It does look quite charming and is a good remaster, but I prefer the atmosphere of the original. I like the darker colors and shadows.

It's the best version, aside from the sheikah stones and minor visual changes (fog, illumination of certain areas) its the definitive way to play oot, the characters look closer to Nakano's artwork and places look amazing

Nah. The lighting looks terrible, the animations look amateurish, and the entire game looks like it has some weird underwater filter all the time and that's just the visuals.
