It’s obvious Toby doesn’t know how to end the story. So many long running series have this problem. People assume someone like Toby or Oda or GRRM have the entire story outlined as soon as they sit down from the very beginning, that’s not the case at all. Usually a fan theory will roughly predict what they were originally going for and the creator has to change it so they can still surprise everyone in the end. This chapter is just Toby stalling for time. Makes literally 0 sense for nothing to happen in chapter 5. He’s hoping the minor adjustments to the plot like Asgore having character development will give him enough wiggle room to come up with a creative and interesting way to move the plot forward. Toby is probably brainstorming and panicking constantly because he needs the ball to keep rolling but he’s demoralized because an entire year passed since 3+4 and he just has no clue how to continue things. You can say I’m wrong or grasping at straws, but there is 0 reason for there to be a Kris + Susie + Ralsei wacky adventure with 0 plot development to be happening this late in the game. Something is seriously wrong here. I can tell the game will have an extremely unsatisfying and disappointing ending. If you’re a fandom tranny you can cope and just say you loved shipping the heckin valid LGBT characters and drawing fan art for the past decade but some of us actually give a shit about the overarching plot and we want the ending to be good and mind blowing

Honestly, Noelle being a lesbian in love with Susie never bothered me, not even that moment in the ferris wheel in Chapter 2, it was kind of cute. But the way it went in chapter 5 just doesn't feel right, because to me it wasn't a big deal, but that whole "romantic" scene just felt so forced. Susie spends more time with Kris and it's very clear she likes him despite him not having much of a personality (since he's (you)), they could've written this scene better, or at least made it more subtle, it was very over the top.
