How do you make time to play vidya working 8 hours per day (not including transport time) 6 days a week without being tired
Get a better job that's closer to home and where you work less
>>741832018My work is like 15 minutes from home with my bike and I dont work too much thought, but I work from 5pm until 1am
On the weekdays I game on my retro handhelds. I have an office job and use public transportation. I either read a book or game on one of these mfs. I only play PC games on the weekends. Gaming isn't my main hobby, reading is.
stop scrolling tiktok and lock in
>>741831749don't know, recently I made a "time audit" to see how much free time I actually have per day so I know if can reconnect with some of my hobbies. After careful calculations I ended up with 3 hours per day (it was closer to 4 but I wanted to be have some room to adapt); but somehow I just started to get busier with the exact same activities (like every task augmented in duration by 20%), now I'm lucky if I manage 30min per day. Shit really feels like the universe just doesn't want me to play guitar or finish any game.
>>741831749>working 8 hours per dayhuh? can you explain this concept im not familiar with?
>>741832279stop working at a bar
>>741834342he's actually hinting at the truth, you're selecting to spend time on /v/ instead of playing vidya
>>741835213Damn you nailed it, im surprised
>>741835227Im on my work as i made this thread faggot, there isn't a single customer and im almost falling asleep

>>741835415Don't get smart with me, boy. Do you have a gameboy? A 3DS or Vita? Cmon son, step it up.
>>741831749Some people only say they like vidya
>>741831749Bottom half kino
>>741835592>bringing a handheld console to workThats social suicide
>>741835415thats one of the things about video gamesthey fit into many different roles in your life.wordle on the toilet, grinding a ranked ladder in counterstrike, grinding 100% in an open world game, gooning to modded skyrim....i'm not saying you should download OSRS on your phone to fletch arrows at work, though that is of course an optionbut try some new stuff out. break out of your current habits and spend your time differently. though the cause could of course be diet or health related.it's clear to me that you are understimulated or you would not have been attention-seeking enough to post such a shitty thread on /v/
>>741835724Play Pokemon Champions on your phone. They came out with the mobile version a week ago.
>>741831749I'm NEET and I still struggle to play game more than once per week
Simple I do not work
>>741835724You want to play that game, don'tcha?>How do you make time to play vidya working 8 hours per day (not including transport time) 6 days a week without being tiredSocial suicide, I guess.
>>741835724>not bringing games to work on downtimeFake gamer. Take this man's gamer pass away.I bring my steamdeck to work so I can play Spectrobes.Makes the shift go by faster.
I kinda miss working desu
12 hour night shifts are pretty sweet.
>>741836001my friend used to do watch shifts when he served in the Navy and they never let him bring books or anything, he HAD to watch the place for hours on end. The most he could have was talking to another seaman watching with him if his shift had one.
>>741836120>job was to guard military assets>not allowed to slack offWell no shit. Get a job where you have to patrol a shopping mall or something instead.
>>741831749I have 60h in GTNH this week alone while working full time.

>>741835724I used to bring my DS to work when I still worked as a mechanic and me and this black dude worked with would trade and battle Pokemon on Soul Silver.
>>741831749I only play the same 3-4 games a little bit.Why is looking into the sunset and shit so overrated anyways, you can do that but its only interesting for about 10min
>>741836819I don't know how you can get more based than that.
Growing up destroys it all. Then people try in vain to recapture it.
>>741835931this meme aged like wine
The only device I ever took to work was the pokewalker, I scratched it on the first day.
I don't have a job, that's how.
>>741834998I've done the same math and yeah, 8 hrs sleep (hahaha) and 8 hrs work plus travel to and from and an hour minimum to get ready...18.5 hours of work/sleep.That's 5.5 hours free time right? Then you factor in things like dinner, shower, hygiene, etc.The remaining time may as well not count because even if it's free, you aren't able to enjoy it at your 100% self. You are likely tired or need to unwind by yourself, at least for my experience.A game takes more effort to fully enjoy than some mindless scrolling.Being in a relationship eats even the last bit of time often anyway...The weekends where I'm home and she works are where games have the best chance to be played if I'm not doing a backlog of house chores.../Blog
I havent put clothes on in a week
>>741835964Same, I shouldn't have bought that lottery ticket
>>741831749Home office or playing emus on the phone at workmI do two days of homeoffice a week where I rush through my work and just have to be on standby to play vidya.Otherwise I wouldn't be able to. I get home, shop, cook, clean, eat, take care of the dog and than it's like 8pm and I rather exercise. So it's 10pm when I get out of the shower and if you get older you become like a kid again that needs to get off the pc at least an hour before sleep or your sleep will be shit.So you rather read or do something else like playing an Instrument.So... the key to play vidya as an adult is to not work basically.
>>741831749I'm only working two days a week because of ongoing arm and neck issues, and it's only 11 minutes drive both ways. Feel like I've developed a real case of insomnia as a result though.>>741835724>socialising at workEl oh el.
