I didn't realize until very recently that Shinji tore up Ken's entire fucking house when he killed Ken's mom and that's why you never see it in the game.
Ken doesn't constantly 'express' himself by crying and whining and acting like a bitch, and Ken does not spend 2/5 to 3/5 of the narrative literally plotting to kill another party member over a retarded misunderstanding.
