Wuwa on the other hand is open world. If you prefer exploration then you'll have a better time with Wuwa. Combat functionally works the same for both games. You have your DPS units, your sub-DPS units and your support units. You block or you dodge enemy attacks. You maximize your damage based on your team composition and your ability to swap units at the right moment. With Wuwa you have a sort of FF8 Guardian Force gameplay mechanic where you murder monsters on the field, some of them leaving "echos" you can absorb and equip to boost your stats. And you can summon them to attack while you fight. Wuwa shines in its story and music, although the first couple of chapters can filter people with the pacing and chink shit.

It's like 2 hours of content. I do not know how WuWa, a game with a fairly accomplished level of seamlessness between exploration and combat, spends like 2/5 of content arcs in 'driving' sections you literally barely interact with, instead of leveraging how the game feels decent enough to go from exploration/travel to combat, it's like they don't want to utilize one of the things the game/game engine does kind of okay.

Don't take this as optimism, but methinks Lucy and Rebecca will get a rerun in the future mainly because WuWa is coming to Xbox this July, and Kuro has been hyping the WWxCP:E collab to the Xbronies. Other than that, yeah, this is a one-and-done collab, and you've got 14 days. Or obviously just watch the quest on Youtube and never install the game.
