The steam hardware survey is not representative, it's just as flawed as saying women are 50% of gamers because they play on their phones.There's a large number of people who have a basic laptop and use it to play basic, free to play games which skews the numbers.Anyone actually spending money on games i.e. enthusiasts, already has a better PC, because it's not hard to beat the Steam Machine's performance.I don't even have top end hardware, just my old AM4 platform - 5700X, 32GB DDR4, 9060XT 16GB and it's still more powerful than the Steam Machine.The machine was already obsolete when they announced it and it ended up being even worse than expected (the CPU is very underpowered), it ships with single-channel memory etc.
