>>741839348I don't think the story was as compelling as the first game since it gets sidetracked into a bunch of new characters and their problems and has a 20 hour long tutorial segment, and the lighting is a downgrade in realism compared to the first game, but aside from those issues it's really good and the gameplay is a big upgrade over the first.
Even ignoring the faggotry, it's way worse than the first one in almost every way.The combat was gutted and made braindead easy, the writing is a snark filled humiliation ritual for the MC and the visuals are only slighly improved in some places and downgraded in some other places. The first game was genuine, a passion project, this is a soulless corporate product following the shittiest trends in the industry, and even with a much bigger marketing campaign it has sold just about the same as the first.

I lost interest by the time you go to the second map. Started off great however.

Combat in 2 is objectively better EXCEPT that they removed attack directions.The change of being able to reduce the chance of getting master striked to zero by skillfully playing more than makes up for it.
