It's also worth bearing in mind that the cost of entertainment as a whole has come down considerably within the past decade, with apps like TikTok and Instagram offering a wide range of very fetching content that's delivered to the user entirely free of charge. And with DLSS 5 on the horizon there, it's plausible that Valve's recent offering could be bolstered by future machine learning capabilities should AMD embrace what Nvidia is doing with motion vectors in FSR 5. End users interface with apps like TikTok every day and it doesn't appear to me that the quite fetching use of generative AI on a platform like TikTok would be so out of place on Valve's latest hardware offering.
