Is Aqua the only major character this chapter that actually fits the Japanese theme? There's some enemies but I'm not counting that. Aqua is the only one that actually seems like she was designed with a that theming in mind. Even then, she just looks vaguely like a Yokai. I guess you could argue Flowery is Japanese because he's anime? For a weeb, Toby sure sucks at designing Japanese themed characters. And that's ignoring how disgusting their treatment of Kris is, their supposed best friend. Are people just forgetting Shadow Crystals at this point? If Toby is not a HACK then those seem to be the most obvious way to fuck with the story even beyond the Weird Route since Gaster comments on your yourney if you choose to fight the Knight but doesn't GAF if you go weird route (at least up until now). Then there's the gameplay aspect that you have to go out of your way to beat a bunch of optional bosses in each chapter and the shadow crystals are the one thing being tracked in your save files. Obviously TONY could just be a HACK and they just give a couple cool OP endgame recipies to take on chapters 6 and 7. Also speaking of which, if chapter 6 is truly skipped in the weird route, I don't think we'll be able to talk to Seam. And we miss one of the Shadow Crystals...

The chapter is really growing on me man, I really like Flowery and most of the flowers (specially Aqua, her theme is really good too). Bit dissapointed/sad with the egg man goodbye and how lackluster it feels with the previous two chapters but whatever. The difficulty in this one is great, I like that the secret boss has more strategy to it than the others who were strictly try to survive, while here you have to manage the point system and have several ways to play it (also that FUCKING bomb attack man fuck the nigger that designed it)
