>>741850305I vaguely remember killing one of the patrolling hedoth combots on one of the missions(not mandatory, i think the mission even tells you to avoid it) by 1v1ing him in melee while 10 of the engineers repaired my guy. I got his claw and then went to town after researching it

>three different layers of a map active at once with different units that are effective on them and which provide different tactical opportunities>mech units are built part by part and you can sever enemy mechs' parts and hotswap them on the spot or take them back to base and research them to make yourselfThis game was years ahead of its time.
>>741854864for me it's shooting the little crewmen dudes with hot plasma after they come out
Same. I've listened to like 12000 hours of metal (black, death, heavy, power, thrash, speed, doom, symphonic, stoner, viking, grindcore, goregrind, deathcore, djent, nu, literally fucking everything you can imagine) and I can't do it anymore. I've exhausted what the genre had to offer. I'm craving different, slower lighter stuff now like vidya osts, electronic and classical music.
For me, it's MilAgro blade arm.
It's too easy to dominate the sky, which gives infinite power to control the surface. so the enemy becomes an infinite seething mass to grind through underground. until you unlock tectonic torpedoes
>>741850305>>741854864are there any games that do the simultaneous multi layer map thing without it feeling tacked on or bloated?

>>741850305Really wish there was a sequel where the CorpoNations manage to reverse-engineer more Hedoth tech behind the backs of the alien overlords and win their freedom back. Not to mention a Jonus redemption arc.Or at least give me a spiritual successor.
>>741850305shame the campaign is pretty forgettable except for the nugget massacre when you're brainwashed StefanI played the fuck out of skirmish though. Robots with hammers are so cool
