That means that if PS6 is giga expensive they will keep releasing games on PS5 even after the expected cross-gen period. And will also look for alternative development targets, like non-gaming laptops or other common devices people are using at the time.Giga expensive consoles would have a much smaller userbase. Making a major game only for such platforms would be ridiculous. If hardware companies want to sell more hardware, they'll have to make it affordable.I have an Xbox home console, a cheap Anbernic handheld console, a mid-range non-gayming laptop and a mid-range smartphone.
