It gave the impression that it'd be another plodding origin story movie where Adam is fucking around on Earth going through "character development" so he doesn't become He-Man until the final 20 minutes.But it wasn't that. The portion of the story where he's on Earth just exists to give him a pushover mentality that he has to unlearn in favor of firm and responsible masculinity.
