...the remake is going to suck, isn't it?I keep coping that it will be good since it's Ocarina of Time, one of Nintendo's greatest games ever, but the new Star Fox remake shows how lazy Nintendo has gotten.Saria, Zelda, Malon, Princess Ruto are going to look like shit. They are going to add VA that sound like bad theater kids playing DnD. The cutscenes are going to have offputting lighting and revamped SFX that sound worse than the original. It's going to be an exact 1:1 without fixing any of the awkward gameplay and dungeon exploring. The new graphics is going to kill the atmosphere in places like the Forest Temple and Bottom of the Well. The game is probably just another money grab made by a souless western dev team instead of japs that actually try hard. The 2026 release date and "trailer" that showed no gameplay means the game is going to be rushed and sloppy as fuck.Ocarina of Time is what got me into video games. Please give me another reason to cope, Nintendo. I can't take this anymore.

The problem with Ocarina of Time is that, to me, it's clearly in the hands of a Western studio (judging by the art), so we can expect a lot of the trashy designs and writing typical of modern Western products, kind of like the new Star Fox.We'll probably see the Western "contribution" to the gameplay as well, because OOT is a rough game (it always has been, actually) so they can't keep the gameplay intact like Star Fox, and they'll have to try to modernize that piece of shit with decent combat, exploration, and puzzles, but it'll be Westerners doing it, so don't expect much.
