I like the games, I like the stories, I like the charactersThe dripfeeding of content, the abysmal rates to obtain things and constant daily / weekly cycle became way too much, and I don't want to start hating the games because I no longer want to play them, so I leave on good terms.I've quit like 10 gachas total, I'm on my last one which I've stuck for ~3,5 years, haven't started any new ones since, I'm starting to care less and less about dailies, but I still stick to the game because the story is genuinely interesting. Thankfully the game is really generous, I own every character and I've got shitton of resources that guarantees I'll never go dry on any new or limited characters, completely f2p.
I tried one gacha game so I could understand the genre. I chose Infinity Nikki because the gameplay (basic platforming) was tolerable and didn't demand any grinding or special abilities granted by gacha pulls. I completed all of the story content and 100% all the achievements. I stuck around for 2 updates, completed their content rather quickly and observed the only thing left to do was just grind for currency or pay money to get more useless cosmetics. Then I stopped playing, convinced that the reason I don't enjoy gacha games is because I am simply not vulnerable to the psychological tricks that weaker minds fall for. Must suck to be a retarded gambling addict whose only purpose in life is to get fleeced.

I find daily or time-limited shit insufferable regardless of gacha or not. I've had similar experiences with most mmos I've played and have dropped a bunch of them after a few days of playing. I generally enjoy the kinds of progression systems those games tend to have, but the moment they try to get me with fomo, I just can't find the motivation to boot up the game again.
