its too uncomfortable, my VR headset has been collecting dust for over a year

AR will never ever take off, they'll waste a decade on it only to crawl back to VR
People live online lives these days, they don't want to be looking at their increasingly deteriorating IRL surroundings

Waiting for Frame. After I moved Frame was already rumored about so I didn't set my Index up but it's now nearing a year without Frame so I'm questioning my choices.

It's still the more shitter more poorfag solution to just having 3 huge ass TVs connected.

On ones glorifying VR are retards that don't own VR. it's shit once you experience how impractical it is on regular use. It's a gimmick toy at best.

I just wear my glasses under the Quest 3. You can adjust how near the screens are.

Android being the de facto OS of choice for all wireless headsets and Linux support on wired headsets being restricted almost entirely to the Index and maybe the BSB/HTC Vive stuff kind of brings it down.
Maybe when Pimax actually implements Linux support which is on their 2026 roadmap, the selection for usable wired headsets on Linux will start increasing.
Windows support is more ubiquitous for wired headsets, but that's like being forced to use GNOME on Linux.
