done my first run on it, everything seems great so far. the voice acting is 50/50 good vs bad imo, some of it is nice. I like Katt.

>>741866189I watched a hardmode run of it because I aint dropping money on a switch just to play starfox.The environments look pretty good, the extra lighting on surfaces from the lasers is a nice touch but it also makes the cockpit view look even worse which is kind of impressive. The Andross fight taking place in an actual room instead of a greenish void just feels weird to me. Fighting a giant head/hands/brain felt more unsettling in those original areas. This is probably more of a nostalgia bias than a legitimate complaint but I figured I'd mention it anyways.The voice acting is for the most part a downgrade and not just the voices themselves but the parts where they changed the dialogue. Going from "COCKY LITTLE FREAKS" to "An honorable defeat" is some bullshit. A lot of the enemy lines lack the energy that made them so memorable in 64 That being said I don't mind Peppy/Slippy/Falco/Kat. Fox comes off as more of a douche. Rob is awful. Wolf/Andrew/Pigma aren't that bad but Leon got done absolutely dirty.
