Anyone else sharing the sentiment of wanting to pre-order GTA VI, but won't be due to the lack of a tangible item inside of the box you're purchasing? I get that the majority of a game is downloaded, and the disc is really just a key, but the lack of a disc and being asked to spend 80 or 100 with no gameplay revealed is just a real kick in the balls. Especially when there's a chunk of content paywalled in the 100-dollar edition. Buying the 80-dollar version is only going to make you think, "Oh man, if only I spent the extra 20 dollars I could've gotten more game for my game."

I really want to play GTA VI, but that's just so fucking ridiculous. At least with Nintendo key cards you have SOMETHING. Just because it's Rockstar and GTA VI doesn't mean they're excused from the bullshit. All game companies are in it to make money, that's business, but they used to make truly generation defining games and there was an obvious passion in it. GTA VI looks incredibly made, but the greed is just so evident with this release that it's just truly disappointing. I wanted to pre-order the game soon as I could, but now I just want to sell my PS5.

It's not about the price. It's about buying a product from a company that used to be so adored and then watching that company take advantage of the trust and emotional attachment from fans that was built upon literal decades. It's like the childhood friend you were really close with, but you grew up and they become an asshole, yet you still stick around because they were there most of your life.
