I would just throw out all the post-Reach game lore and make a nostalgia-bait game that goes back to the Halo 3 and earlier mechanics. So:>no sprinting>no armor abilities>no loadouts>tons of maps, with smaller subset in rotation for competitive seasons>bring back fileshares>have players vote on Forge maps to rotate into the game>give EXP boost for having a mic plugged in and enabled in game chat the whole game to encourage player communication
