play and talk about arle's games right now!
Are any of the games worth emulating? Where should I start if I want to get into Puyo Puyo?
>>741892145>Are any of the games worth emulating?most of them play more or less the same so i'd say yeah, and there are english patches for basically all of them aside from fever 2 which only has a really old incomplete one for PS2 though one for the PSP version is still in the works.>Where should I start if I want to get into Puyo Puyo?tsu, 15th or 20th., though frankly almost every game is good for a start.
is Puyo Puyo Champions any good? I don't like the idea of Puyo Puyo Tetris.
>>741893539No.The game you're looking for does exist, it's Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop, but it's Apple Arcade exclusive. God only knows why.
>>741893539no, i'll admit it is good in a way for learning both tsu and fever modes but that's something you can do in practically any game, plus it sucked out a lot of the charm of puyo>chunk of game characters replaced with ones from the mobile gacha plus all the art is used from that>no chain voices or spells aside from when the chain finishes, they just count (which has been in some modes in the past, but never for tsu/fever), and any animation is gonethe japanese title of esports basically tells you all you need to know about who it was made for. like the other anon said the only modern game that is closest to earlier games is puzzle pop but that's locked away on apple arcade which i will forever be mad about, the one game that has shit people have been clamoring for like these threads and most of the fandom can't even experience it aside from watching the bit of content it has on youtube (especially without commentary).
