What's your opinion on Redguards, the de facto protagonists of The Elder Scrolls 6: Redguard?
>>
I am planning on doing a delicious brown redguard AGP playthrough of Skyrim.
Are there any good face presets? There are too many sliders to come up with anything good manually.

I find them disgusting.
>>
>>741901317
need more of them so I can add them to a modded harem
>>
>>741901795
but redguards are a monogamous species
>>
>>741901317
Sword singing is lame and I dislike deserts, but redguards in general are fine.
Not that it matters, we all know that IF the game actually comes out (assuming Bethesda neither folds nor cancels it) there's gonna be fick all redguard lore and they're just gonna be arabian nights oogaboogas.
>>
The kid that says "Battleborn give me your money" is a redguard but bethesda is so shitty and incompetent that there's only 2 models for all children in the game.

LAWWD THEM SWORDS

I always played Redguards. I picked them initially as a kid because my friend told me Adrenaline Rush was OP and he was right. I remember in Morrowind my guy was basically a drunk asshole that would drink all the booze that gave +strength and then I'd use adrenaline rush and smash stuff with a hammer.

They just kind of became my favorite race cause of that and the first character I make in TES games is a redguard. Hilariously though, given that I am a white guy, I generally make my redguards fairly pale and give them a different haircut so half the time they barely even look like one. Kind of cheating to be honest, but I mostly just pick them because they were my introduction to the series.

Redguards are cool when they function more like ancient arabs instead of subsaharan negroes. A game actually set in Hammerfell would be neat, it has a lot of good lore and also FUCK High Elves.
Daily reminder Saadia is canonically a lying whore. Kematu is a cool nigger.

Already been proven without a reasonable doubt that Saadia was being honest and Kematu a two-faced psycho.

Canonical lore in-universe makes her story contradictory and nonsensical. She's a traitor. Nothing Kematu does in the game suggests he's psychotic.

Bosmer don't believe in monogamy and Dunmer are notoriously promiscuous.

Hiding out in a cave with your goons armed to the teeth until some retard for hire takes care of your problem because you're so confident you have the right of it is definitely honest and commendable behavior.

>>
>>741904523
She claims that she "spoke out against the Aldmeri Dominion" and for that, the noble houses are hunting her.
However, in recent lore that relates to the events immediately preceeding Skyrim (The Great War), Hammerfell opted to secede from the Empire because of the White-Gold Concordat, feeling as though Titus Mede II had betrayed the country by offering a portion of Hammerfell to the Dominion. After seceding the native Redguards continued the war effort and actually drove out the majority of the Dominion forces, and as of present day (4E 201) an underground war between Hammerfell and the Thalmor persists.
Nobody in Hammerfell is aligned with the Dominion except traitors. "Speaking out" against the Dominion in Hammerfell is what you're supposed to do, not something you would ever be punished for.
Ergo, Saadia's story makes no sense.

>Hammerfell is just one big monolith
Lmaoing at your surface level understanding of Nirnian culture, or even actual IRL history as TES often mirrors it.
An "underground war between Hammerfell and the Thalmor" isn't a clear cut ordeal. There are influence wars happening at all times. Hammerfell isn't a centralized power like Imperial Cyrodiil, they have noble houses wrestling for supremacy over territory at all times. It is by no means improbable that one such would seek out Thalmor cooperation to obtain more power in the midst of quarrel. We are also told Saadia is from Taneth, the closest major city, i.e. major House to Summerset archipelago, so naturally the one most prone to direct influence from the Thalmor. Saadia's story fits neatly into all of this as she spoke out in the midst of the noble bosom presumably most aligned with the Thalmor, meaning it was an act of great courage and warranting of her arrest and execution, for which a mercenary (important detail) squad of elite killers was hired.
But now let us employ simple logic: who would have more of an incentive in retrieving a rouge element from another province, notoriously in a civil war itself namely because of Thalmor meddling? Would it be the native Redguards, who would have to dispense important muscle from defending their homeland to get someone located somewhere where they no longer pose a threat, seeing as anti-Thalmor sentiment in Skyrim is at an all-time high and she is mostly helpless on her own? Or would it be the Thalmor who would have a bigger incentive in silencing a possible dissidence-multiplier in an already dissidence-prone province, which would have major implications for their infiltration capabilities?
Everything tells me Saadia was being persecuted by the Thalmor, who hired those most apt of kin to find her to rid themselves of any bad optics that a Thalmor patrol torturing redguards on sight would implicate.

>Saadia's story fits neatly into all of this as she spoke out in the midst of the noble bosom presumably most aligned with the Thalmor
There is no evidence that any house or region of Hammerfell is even remotely aligned with the Thalmor. I don't think you know what it means to "presume" something. Making shit up out of convenience doesn't turn your assumptions into presumptions.
>meaning it was an act of great courage and warranting of her arrest and execution
Why would it warrant either? The Thalmor have a long history in extended lore and Skyrim itself of maintaining their enemies to use as manipulators. They are never quick to execute anybody, let alone reveal their alignments. If they are, PRESUMABLY, working in secret with an ambiguous ally in Hammerfell, the last thing they would do is attract attention by condemning her. That's a waste of an easy pawn.
>for which a mercenary (important detail) squad of elite killers was hired.
Why is that an important detail?
>who would have more of an incentive in retrieving a rouge element from another province(...)
Neither. I stand to reason it's largely exactly what Kematu makes it out to be; revenge. She sold her city out, either for money or fear, and it cost many lives. So somebody, not even necessarily a person or people of any great position or power, hired a band of mercenaries. Not for honor, but for (You).

>>741909940
>Making shit up out of convenience doesn't turn your assumptions into presumptions.
It's out of Saadia's mouth that she betrayed the Thalmor and fled. I say presumably because "Taneth" is also mentioned in another speech as where she's from. It's putting 2 and 2 together from direct evidence.
>They are never quick to execute anybody, let alone reveal their alignments
They're selective, doesn't mean they're always one way never another.
>the last thing they would do is attract attention by condemning her.
She is a negative to their operation, if her story is correct. She is a possible source of undermining their influence in an age when information travels slowly, especially when it's sanctioned by a faction very keen on maintaining a narrative. She could be, for all they know as they hadn't even precisely located her yet, spreading the news of what happened in Hammerfell to Empire-aligned nords and thus weakening their resolve, and the Thalmor. She's no pawn, she's a chaotic agent.
>Why is that an important detail?
Because diplomacy would have been the safest and most logical avenue in getting what they wanted, if Saadia was in fact a traitor to a House of Hammerfell. A faction that employs sneaky tactics to snuff out a foe outside of their jurisdiction is probably lacking the former option, hence the Thalmor being in all likelihood behind it.
