God, I was such a poser and follower in the mid-late 2000's. Linkin Park had tons of great albums, but everyone just listened to Meteora or Breaking Benjamin's Phobia. It was only because the songs on those albums were the most widely used in AMV's, which is unironically how a lot of people discovered those bands/songs.

I don't think everyone has to like them, and you can think they were "mainstream" and normalfag music but growing up in the mid 2000's I'd say most people enjoyed their music, at least teenagers did.
