>>741905607It’s good but some rough edges. Movement is kind of slippery and platforming is hit or miss. Terrain clipping is also an issue in some areas and the gun only sections are kind of shit. The melee combat feels clunky sometimes. Overall gameplay though is very solid with a decent amount of customizable ways to play. Nothing ever feels unfair except for some instant death platforming sections. The characters are okay, but the best, but they keep you going, as well as the story and NPC’s. The world is also nice but could use more variety in the aesthetics, since a large chunk of the game is a desert and another desert. But the world building is solid and the lore is fairly straightforward. All in all, a high 8/10. It’s not perfect but I think most people will enjoy it.

Not *as* good as NieR in my opinion in regards to story though.Gameplay is great. Much better than NieR:A Parries and dodges feel responsive and tight. Gameplay/fight speed gradually picks up as you progress through the game, get better at fighting and learn new skills.Lots of customization for the MC, some minor customization for companions.Multiple endings. "True Ending" involves a an additional, potentially missable area though. Need to fill Lily's slightly hidden affinity meter by doing certain quests and finding certain lore pieces in the world.
