I PERSONALLY really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun with it, but 90% of people hate it because of MUH CENSORSHIP CAN'T SEE PANTIES but the gameplay and story itself was fun to me. I realize I'm in the minority, but that doesn't bother me. I had fun.

>>741922104I remember the hype and all the imagined potential when the game was first announced. It wasn't just the two IPs but Intelligent Systems and Atlus were supposed to be both involved. I also remember feeling like I got kicked in the gut when the first actual gameplay was revealed. To this day I swear Atlus used the resources for P5 and gave Nintendo a half scrapped Vita game. It was an exclusive that ran so badly even the pause menu had a loading screen.The later baffling censorship like removing the main character's pelvic bone and altered scenes were just humor piled on top of the crushing disappointment.

The whiplash of how the trailer started to what the game and FE x SMT collab turned out to be is still one of the funniest things in gaming. It was just shock at what they were showing and then more shock when they explained further that this was indeed the collab game people were waiting for. Deservedly flopped twice.

Feels like the only thing people hate about it is "its not demifiend and Ike fighting each other" cause they can't let go of the teaser they should never have released, or hating on censorship and the aesthetic. 99% of the complaints come from people who likely didn't even play it.I hate censorship too, it definitely knocks off points but the gameplay itself is fantastic Wonderful music too
