the 3DS remake has good hit feedback and perfect sound design too.
it's only the demake that is made by retards who are too stupid to understand the fundamentals of game design.
Notice how the design of the ship is way worse as well.

if you're gonna get a remake stick to the 3DS. modern nintendo are trash.

they intend to sell it on brand recognition alone, also they want to see the level of interest of current generation of players on said brand.
if it flops like the previous remake they will wait until the next generation to release another cheap lazy remake of the same game and try again.

I enjoyed it for the most part, but Nintendo really needs to have at least one autist on their dev team or even just in play testing with an encyclopedic knowledge when doing remakes because they would have pointed out shit like this, cutscene timing and such long before release.

OoT is going to suffer the same fate hard. I can guarantee with Switch 2 fidelity graphics, the Beamos won't be skin grafted onto an iron body with an organic mouth and eye.

Hit impact will likely be affected too.

>xitter opinions
actually a good one
shooting andross' eyes on venom and there's no feedback telling you you're doing the right thing. no rumble, no health bar, no flinching in his model, no nothing.

Everyone is calling him out for being wrong

Imagine your character punches a guy but..
-he has no stagger animation
-the punch has no arc or trail effect
-there are no hitsparks on the impact
-there are no blood particles or anything
-the impact sound is weak and unsatisfying

This is because there is no juice. it feels like you're hitting a pool noodle against a wall and this is the sure sign that the game designer is an incompetent retard.

Fun fact: The 3DS remake was made by Dylan Cuthbert's company Q-Games, he was one of the main programmers on Star Fox 1&2 and the same company made Star Fox Command on the DS.

Are you illiterate?
He never claimed N64 Peppy didn't have lines for it. He said that there was proper hit feedback in the original.
Peppy's lines were unnecessary as a result, rather than being the only way to know how to fight the boss.

So feedback.
