I finished my first run but from what I've read, the 2nd run is 90% the same outside of remixed enemy placements and the very last bit of the game
am i really missing out on much if I just come back to it later after playing through re3/4r and re9?
>>
Side b is practically the same shit. If you're curious about the real ending, just look it up. Capcom really fucked up with the two runs in this game compared to the og
>>
it's really the same with an extra gimmick boss, still worth playing through but not a priority imo
>t. played 500 hours of this game
>>
No, youve beaten most of the game, the rest is boring

Let's not pretend that other than story beats and alterations that Scenario A/B were dramatically different from each other in the OG either. It was still 90% the same, even with the zapping system that affected all of 2 items, a few rooms, and a couple enemies that the vast majority of people never saw because they killed those enemies in A every time anyways.

og B scenarios get an entirely new area, so this isn't true

It's worth it to revisit B scenario in like 9 months after playing A, just play claire before Veronica remake is out

Side A is the tutorial. Side B is the ultimate survival horror experience. Play the first ten minutes and you'll see, the station is completely infested with zombies right from the start.

If you haven't played RE2 before or know the story, you will be completely lost as to who Sherry is for RE9 if you haven't played Claire's side, or you will be lost as to all the call backs Leon has in RE4 and RE9 if you didn't play his side.

Gameplay-wise, yeah, it's mostly the same with some different placement, boss fights, and a few different rooms/areas to explore. The game is easy to finish within maybe 3-5 hours though, so I don't see why you wouldn't just finish it now rather than move on, be confused, then come back later.

I say just finish it.

Sherry is in 9 for like 30 seconds

And? You'd still be confused as to who she is, why she is where she is, how she has the same virus Leon is struggling with, and what she's talking about during the Raccoon City part of the game.

Is it critical information that makes or breaks the game? Of course not. But it'd still be confusing if you didn't play Claire's side.
