>>741943634try going for maximum fire path and always upgrading. The first 3 normal combats are easier than any you hit afterward so prioritize fires>events>elites>normal combats on the map after you hit 3. Because hard combats are the worst possible thing to hit being an HP tax close to elite but with much worse rewards. Playing it safe and resting is often a good way to kill your run because those early upgrades can snowball and save you way more HP than resting. Ideally you want to spam upgrades and maximize the heal from the boss. The only time I ever really rest is the fire before bosses when things are looking bad. Especially against cunts like waterfall giant.
