Give him credit where it's due. Most devs are simply to inept and scares to play their own games. Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassing it would be if Miyazaki tried to play BB or ER on stream

The right thing to do is to hire the best players in the world and balance the "hard" mode for them, and then add an even harder difficulty with no expectation that anyone will ever finish it, and let the community work on it.

So we play on Normal, which should be the default for all games.
Hard and other difficulty levels should be for those who have completely mastered the game, but few developers actually do that. Doom Eternal was released, and there were already videos the very next day of people beating it on the highest difficulty possible. It took a month for Tetris Grandmaster 4, with all the autists and transvestites playing all day long, for someone to finally achieve the "grandmaster" rank, and even then, it wasn’t the highest rank (which, as far as I know, no one has achieved to this day).
That’s how it should be.
A game shouldn’t be completely mastered by someone in a single day.

Americans are soft but Eternal has perfectly fine difficulty. I’ve never tried to beat it on Ultra Nightmare, I know my limits and that’s fine for me. Most probably don’t even play Hurt Me Plenty
