Now that you're older I bet a lot of you guys resonate more with the theme/message of Ocarina of Time, don't you? Looking back a lot of those scenes probably hit a bit harder than they did as a kid. I think that bridge scene with Saria would hit pretty hard for me today. The halcyon days are over. I hope Majora's Mask gets a remake as well but I know it's not likely.
>>741954131People exaggerate whatever messages Ocarina of Time convey. Also Majora's Mask is not getting any remake lol.
>wanting a MM remake after MM3D completely fucked the entire game with nerfs for casual babbies
>>741954749>People exaggerate whatever messages Ocarina of Time convey. The message is all throughout the game. Just look at a lot of the stuff Sheik says.
Replace "forest" with "hood" and you got me. I made it out. I went to college n shieet.
>>741954131>you guys resonate more
>>741954131Yeah I replayed it and MM a few years ago and it hit really hard. There were so many layers I didn't pick up on as a kid.
>>741954749Also Majora's Mask is not getting any remake lol.Thank God
>>741954131It hits even harder with orchestral musichttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiHtdiNglqk&t=170s
>>741954838When Link pulls the sword he is instantly 18 years old, he doesn't grow up, he doesn't experience anything changing "faster and slower on the river of time" and at the end he is sent back in time to actually live his childhood. Then you fags play the game 28 years later and think, wow this is so heckrino deep sauce.
>>741954804MM3D is harder because time moves quicker and it costs magic to swim fast and you have to build momentum up to hop quickly as deku link. It's so hard it filters you retards.
741955248>actually ruining the game to make it artificially "harder" is a good thing
>>741955361>I am backed into a corner I better call this bait and run away like a little girl
>>741954804Nerrel's video can be seen from space. There's no way Nintendo didn't pick up on the criticism.
>>741955179>he is instantly 18 years old, he doesn't grow up, he doesn't experience anythingYes. That's the whole point. The game is about children playing as adults, genuinely having good intentions and reasons to believe that they ought to make a difference, but who fuck that up and have to atone for their mistakes in a world they've doomed because of their own innocent inability, and Zelda feels so guilty that she was unable to handle this as a child that she sends Link back to a new time so that he doesn't have to live out this fate himself. It's NOT about about how life as a child is all wonder and adulthood is simply inherently suffering in comparison. That would actually be somewhat trite compared to what it actually does.

>>741955953See what I mean, you exaggerate a simple adventure story to this degree.
>>741956973I'm just describing what actually relevantly happens in the game to make it clear to you. I'm not over complicating anything or even pretending the plot is more complex than it is.
>>741954131Oot is one of the few stories i can think of that depicts growing up as a tragedy.
>resonate withNah.>understandYeah.
>>741954131Is the forest an stand in for your mom's basement?
>>741961283The peter pan metaphor with link and the kokiri is really obvious.
BREAKING: OoT Remake leaked screenshots
>>741960508I wonder why more stories don't do that.
>>741954975Busta. Straight busta
>>741954131why, what's special about this scene? the leaving and going on to do greater things? that never happened for me so it doesn't resonate.
>>741954131>Now that you're older I bet a lot of you guys resonate more with the theme/message of Ocarina of Time, don't you?
>>741954131Its weird that this scene is treated as if he's never seeing her again just to rendezvous with her a hour later to get saria's song.
