"Dark Fantasy" implies there are inherent horror tropes and atmosphere in the setting and stories themselves, how was this ever the case of Zelda?It always seemed like a fairly optimistic world even if some of the enemies were horror inspired.Witcher is held up as a prime example of dark fantasy because the life of the average person is fucking terrible and horror monsters could just kill you in your sleep.Fromsoft games are obvious examples as well
