The new types of settings from 6, 7, 8 and 10 were the best things for the series. For them to go back to medieval slop and fuckng crystals as the crux of the stories was a horrible choice.

Chibi world models and realistic battle models is where it's at. The battle models are literally taken straight from the official game art and look phenomenal.

I played FF7 since 2000 and beaten the game 2-3 times on the original version etc. and even at the time these models looked way off.You know if they had more time they would've preferred to do this instead of the chibis, just like they did with FF8.
