Here's the truth. The game cannot and will not wrap up satisfyingly within the next 2 chapters. There's just too much left to finish up. And that's the point. The normal route will be a lame, forced, hollow ending. We get the prophecy we were given and nothing else, no matter what.The game is being made with the expectation that the player will want more, will want to break the prophecy, and will want to go back and replay to find Weird Route shit to do so. A 2nd, altered playthrough with a drastically different final act is the only way that all these remaining plot points could possibly be wrapped up. There just isn't enough game left for them. So there has to be more game somewhere.
