Why

I don't know who decided that should be a standard screen but whoever came up with it and anyone who uses it is a faggot. And I like controllers.

pc bros... they don't think we're real samurai gangsters...

Controller is better for yakuza tho
>>
Funny how they put in this own to stubborn retards who won't spend $30 on a gamepad.

Bro's really trying to do brawling combos with the mouse wheel.

Real submarine pilots use a gamepad

>this screen always shows on startup
>yet the game can't recognize the d-pad, right analog stick, nor start button on my controller
>have to use steam input to get around the issue
Worked fine with my last controller, too, which is weird

Try using a DualSense. Despite it literally being DirectInput and the game having native DualShock 4 support (So DirectInput) it breaks the controls entirely and thinks you're using both a DS4 and Xbox controller at the same time and can't use it at all. I have no idea why it doesn't work but if I plug my DS4 in it's fine from what I recall.
