i found the writing really bad as a /lit/izeni have a low bar for vidya, too. the average interactive fiction game is at least readable without awkward esl structure or retarded punctuation formatting didn't play long enough to have an opinion on the politics or philosophy. my understanding is that the devs are outspoken marxists and the game is tendentiously as well

I don't really get why people keep saying it's a "communist propaganda" game when the game heavily criticize what happened with communism in the game setting. If anything it criticize all the political ideologies it explores.The story itself is much more the story of Harry trying to rediscover himself.Just like how the final character, the deserter, is first shown as a "communist warrior" only to show that his murder wasn't even really communist related and mostly him being mad at the world and everyone.
